Dr. P. C. Rath, Senior Consultant – Cardiology, Apollo Health City, Hyderabad has been awarded as Apollo Distinguished Clinician Award 2018.

Dr.Abdul Ghafur, Consultant in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology, Apollo Specialty Hospital has been included as a jury and advisory member of The Longitude prize, announced by the British Prime Minister. The Longitude Prize is a ten million sterling pound prize which is to be awarded to an invention that can help resolve the global antibiotic resistance crisis.

Dr Ananthakrishnan Sivaraman, Consultant Urologist at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai has been conferred a Special Achievement Award in Robotic Surgery by the Bengal Urological Society at the Bengal Urology society conference. The award has been given as recognition to his efforts in initiating, facilitating and mentoring surgeons in Kolkata over the past one year.

Professor Ranjit Roy Chaudhury, Chairman – Task Force for Research, Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Foundation (AHERF) has been awarded for his valuable contribution in the field of medicine.He received the award from Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar who felicitated him for his dedication and tireless research into finding new remedies to growing medical problems.

Dr. I. Sathyamurthy, Dr. P. Ramachandran and Dr. Y.V.C. Reddy, Senior Consultants of our Heart Institutes, Chennai, were conferred with the Award on World Heart Day by the Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
